Social Media Marketing Specialist

We are looking for a client facing, post sales account management position that will serve as the primary point of contact to maintain the overall client relationship and more importantly, complete satisfaction with our agency.

We are looking for a client facing, post sales account management position that will serve as the primary point of contact to maintain the overall client relationship and more importantly, complete satisfaction with our agency. The candidate will have a proven track record of client retention in a digital marketing agency, primarily in an Social Media client management role.

We have a remote position available that will put you directly into the mix of working with small, medium and enterprise brands managing the day to day communication between our clients and project tasks for our delivery team. Most of the tasks you will complete yourself and some you will assign through our project management system.

The key to this position is to be a self managing problem solver, critical thinker and to integrate yourself as a key component of the client’s marketing team.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Help Execute the client’s digital strategy for our clients through task management and communication with our delivery team
  • Monthly Content Calendars (hashtag research, creatives, competitor analysis, and post descriptions)
  • Monthly Post Scheduling
  • Monthly Community Engagement (responding to comments, DMs, commenting on other profiles, following and unfollowing)
  • Work with our clients to manage their day to day communication for their digital marketing campaigns.
  • Maintain the client agency relationship and grow the account by constantly assessing the client’s overall market position and identifying opportunities to bring additional value to the client.
  • Achieve client’s overall marketing objectives and goals utilizing the entire agency’s resources
  • Quality control for all client work
  • Effectively meet deadlines and successfully manage multiple priorities in a demanding work environment.
  • Execute the client road map post sales
  • Report to our clients on their campaigns. Break down KPIs to clients.
  • Meet with clients through Zoom meetings on a regular basis.
  • Keep client retention high by contract renewals and driving additional opportunities through up-selling

SKILLS NEEDED

Communication:

  • Must interact with writers, designers, developers and customers and report to senior management personnel.
  • Must provide great feedback and strategic planning for the rest of the Social media team members; direct hires or off-shore.  Support and encourage your team  assuring them that you have their back.
  • Must meet with your team internally on a biweekly basis
  • Create an open environment- Encourage your team to come up with new ideas, ask them for their opinion and feedback.
  • Must communicate with senior management on any fires, concerns, team member issues, or any higher level situations within the social media department.

Creativity:

  • Crafting engaging content is an important skill for a Social Media Manager.
  • Must constantly align content with customer trends and market changes to interest and engage people.
  • Must apply new creative marketing strategies with SEO Brand’s ad and organic design concepts.

Research:

  • Skills in learning social media trends, identifying new social media tools and finding real-time online conversations are necessary for this position.
  • Must have an understanding of the trends and techniques of social media as well as the company’s online presence.
  • Must share and collaborate new social media changes with the rest of the department.

Time Management: 

  • The skill of organizing tasks to meet deadlines is essential for this professional role.
  • Must work according to schedules and must meet marketing and business goals.

What You Need to Apply

  • Demonstrated 2+ years track record working as an Social Media Marketing Specilist ain a digital agency
  • Solid Knowledge of all Social Media platforms
  • Fluency in English
  • Must be self motivated – a critical thinking confident problem solver
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Superb people and customer service skills
  • Passion for marketing and writing
  • Solid web copywriting skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail; a perfectionist
